Options

Attribute prefixAdded to attribute names in JSON. Empty keeps them plain. With JSON to XML, empty ignores attributes.

XML marks up data with tags and attributes; JSON uses objects and lists. Attributes become keys with a prefix, repeated elements become lists, and text sits under a text key when an element also has attributes.

A round trip may not match the original exactly: XML keeps order and attributes, JSON does not.
Choose Every element if your code always expects a list, even for a single item.
JSON to XML needs one top-level key; otherwise a root element is added.

What are the limits of XML ⇄ JSON Converter?

XML and JSON are shaped differently, so a round trip may not give back the exact same file. Namespaces are kept as part of names. DTDs and entities are not expanded beyond the standard ones. Your data stays on your device.
