What are the limits of Data Anonymizer?
Consistent pseudonyms preserve equality within selected columns; they are not irreversible anonymization. Linkability and unselected fields can still identify people. A supplied secret salt + SHA-256 is deterministic pseudonymization, not an encryption key vault. No automatic PII discovery or compliance certification. Mapping secrets are not included in result exports. Inputs stay in browser memory. No workbook is created. Table limits: 5 MB total text, 25,000 rows, 64 columns and 200,000 cells; expensive operations have stricter limits. Processing can be cancelled.
