How to use QR & Barcode Generator
- Optionally add source, medium and campaign tags to a website URL. These are ordinary UTM parameters; the tool does not provide analytics.
- Choose QR or a barcode format. For QR, select text, URL, Wi-Fi, contact, email, phone or SMS content.
- Enter your content and generate the code. Retail formats validate or calculate check digits; QR error correction and module scale are optional controls. QR branding supports high-contrast colors and an optional small logo.
- Download PNG for pixels or SVG for scalable printing. Preserve the quiet zones and test the actual download with your intended scanner.
What are the limits of QR & Barcode Generator?
Logo overlays automatically use high correction but may reduce scanning reliability; test exported codes at their intended print size. QR colors require a light background and at least 7:1 contrast. Static codes contain the supplied content. No URL shortening, tracking redirect, account or expiry is added. A linked website can still change or disappear. Wi-Fi QR codes expose their embedded password to anyone who has the code. EAN/UPC checksums validate digits, not GS1 product registration. 1,800 UTF-8 bytes for QR/matrix formats, 100 bytes for linear codes, bounded canvas/SVG size. Dense content may exceed capacity at high correction. UTF-8 is supported in QR; other matrix formats are limited to ASCII here. Scanner and device support varies. This tool does not certify print/scanner compliance.
