How to use Image to Word
Read English text from a clear image using OCR and preserve rectangular tables as editable Word cells. Review and correct the recognized content before generating the DOCX.
- Choose a clear, upright JPG, PNG, or WebP document image. English recognition assets load on first use.
- Recognize the document. Ruled tables are detected automatically; for other tables, enter column and row boundaries as percentages and recognize again.
- Correct text and table cells in the review, then download an editable DOCX. Optionally include the source image as a visual reference.
A practical example
A photographed price list becomes a Word table with separate item and price cells, plus editable text above and below it.
Useful things to know
What are the limitations?
OCR can misread numbers, names, faint text, or complex layouts. English only in this release. Simple rectangular tables are supported; merged cells and borderless tables may need manual boundaries and corrections. The input is downscaled to at most 4 megapixels. Word output does not promise exact page design.
What should I check before relying on the result?
Keep your original. Inspect recognition, colours, transparency, and dimensions. Automated tools can make mistakes; the preview and editing controls help you review the result.
