How to use Watermark Image

Add a readable text credit, brand, or ownership notice to photos. Apply the same proportional watermark to a batch, with a live preview of the first image.

  1. Choose your images and enter up to 100 characters of watermark text.
  2. Set the text colour, opacity, size, position, and optional tiled repetition. Size and margins scale with each image.
  3. Review the preview for contrast and placement, then export individual files or one ZIP.

A practical example

Use © Team Edtoolkits in the bottom-right corner at 65% opacity, or use tiled repetition for a visible proof image.

Before you share the result

  • Place the watermark away from important faces, text, or product details.
  • The preview uses a system sans-serif font; character appearance depends on installed fonts.
  • A visible watermark is a label, not a guarantee against copying or removal.

Useful things to know

What formats and sizes are supported?

Up to 30 images, 30 MB per file, 80 MB combined, and 40 megapixels per input image. Dedicated format converters accept only their named source format. Exported images are limited to 16 megapixels. Total output is limited to 100 MB. Smaller batches work better on phones.

What should I expect from this tool?

This tool adds text watermarks, not uploaded logos or invisible digital watermarks. Watermarks are permanently drawn into exported pixels.

Will the exported image look exactly like the original?

PNG retains the decoded pixels without extra lossy compression; JPEG and WebP use the chosen quality. Metadata and colour profiles are not copied. Colour rendering can vary by browser. Animated images become a browser-decoded still frame. Keep your originals and inspect the downloaded output.
