30 MB per file · 80 MB total · Up to 30 filesHow to use Merge PDF
Use this when several PDFs belong in a single file: a cover letter and supporting documents, a report and appendices, or a collection of receipts. Merge copies the pages in the order of your input files; it does not edit the text inside them.
- Choose your PDF files, or drop them into the upload area on desktop. Use unlocked, valid PDFs within the displayed limits.
- Move files up or down to set their order. Pages inside each file keep their original sequence.
- Select Merge files, then download and open the result to check its page count and order.
A practical example
If a two-page cover comes before a five-page report, the merged PDF contains seven pages: the cover first, then the report.
Before you share the result
- Document-level bookmarks, forms, attachments, accessibility tags, and signatures may not carry over.
- A merge creates a new document. Keep signed originals if you need to retain their original digital signatures.
- The combined result is limited to 1,000 pages. On a phone, try smaller batches if the browser runs out of memory.
Useful things to know
What are the file limits?
Up to 30 files, 30 MB per file, 80 MB combined, and 1,000 PDF pages per result. Mobile devices may run out of memory sooner. Try smaller batches if processing fails.
What should I expect from this tool?
Page content is preserved, but document-level bookmarks, attachments, interactive forms, and digital signatures may not carry over. Keep the original file when those features matter.
