Encode or decode UTF-8 text, Base64URL and URL escapes, with binary Base64 file support and strict validation.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Base64 & URL Encoder / Decoder →Get started
Choose Base64, Base64URL, URL component or full URL, then encode or decode.
Paste text, or use binary file mode for Base64 data.
Copy or download the complete result. Binary decoding produces a safe .bin download.
Know the limits
Text up to 200,000 characters; binary files and decoded data up to 1 MB. Text decoding requires valid UTF-8. Encoding is not encryption. URL decoding treats plus signs literally and does not implement form-urlencoded decoding.
