Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Video Compressor →Prepare
Add a video and choose the portion to keep.
Adjust and review
Choose Quality for a predictable quality level, or Target size for two-pass encoding. Set resolution, frame rate and audio.
Save your result
Prepare the video, compare the actual sizes, play the encoded result and download.
Limits and compatibility
Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded. Use a current browser; memory-constrained devices may need smaller inputs. Cancellation stops processing. Originals remain unchanged. The pinned FFmpeg WebAssembly engine downloads about 31 MB from jsDelivr on first use. Video encoding can take several minutes on mobile. MP4 uses H.264/AAC and strips source metadata. Inputs are capped at 100 MB combined and 10 minutes per media file. DRM media is unsupported. Output: up to 10 minutes, 1080p and a 1920-pixel longest edge, without upscaling. Target-size mode reserves audio and container overhead; exact bytes are not guaranteed. An already efficient video can become larger. Very small targets are rejected instead of producing unusable video.
