Generate sine and dual tones, linear or log sweeps, white/pink noise and stereo channel tests with phase, level, duration and WAV or MP3 export.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Tone Generator →Prepare and preview
Choose sine, dual tone, sweep, white noise or pink noise. Set the output channels.
Select an adjustment to set frequencies, duration, maximum level, stereo phase or edge fades. Start with device volume low.
Generate the actual signal preview and download WAV or MP3. Use WAV for signal measurements.
Limits and output quality
Local 44.1 kHz generation, 20–20,000 Hz and 0.1–30 seconds. Level is a maximum sample amplitude from −60 to −6 dBFS; it is not speaker SPL or a calibrated loudness measurement. Edge fades are clamped to half the signal duration. Alternating tests switch channels each second with 10 ms transitions. Stereo noise uses the same correlated signal in both channels; phase controls apply only to stereo tonal signals. White noise uses a seeded pseudorandom generator; pink noise uses a Paul Kellet approximation and is normalized to the selected sample-peak maximum before fades. It is not cryptographic randomness or certified measurement noise. WAV is 16-bit PCM; MP3 is lossy and changes the test signal, may add padding and can choose lower sample rates at low bitrates. Use headphones or speakers at an appropriate device volume; generated dBFS does not set physical output level.
