Calculate moderate and vigorous exercise ranges from age or a known maximum heart rate, with a clear visual zone chart.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Heart Rate Zone Calculator →Use the tool
Choose units, measurements or a session preset. Review the supported scope beside the controls.
Adjust the plan and review the visual result. For a timer, select Start; Pause, Reset and Next remain available where applicable.
Save a private summary, schedule or log if offered. Nothing is uploaded or automatically saved.
Understand the method and limits
AHA reference ranges use 50–70% of maximum for moderate activity and 70–85% for vigorous activity. 220 minus age is an approximate population rule; a known maximum can replace it. Medication, conditions and fitness can change appropriate ranges. The tool does not measure pulse or prescribe safe exercise intensity.
Keep your information private
Inputs and logs stay in page memory. No account, upload, health-data analytics, browser storage or medical-record synchronization. Leaving or refreshing the page can clear the session; explicitly downloaded files contain your information. Exports are local PNG/PDF summaries, CSV schedules or logs, and a sleep calendar where offered. These tools are for general planning and estimates, not diagnosis or individualized treatment.
