Methods and limits
Pattern matching assists manual review and cannot guarantee anonymization. Phone, IP and payment-card candidates can be missed or misclassified; cards use a Luhn check. Up to 50 literal custom terms. Overlapping spans are merged. The input remains visible until cleared, and no original values appear in the match list. Review the entire output before sharing.
Private processing
Text and files stay in browser memory and a local worker. No uploads, account access, network lookups or automatic storage. Refreshing clears your work. Input is limited to 500 KB and generated output to 1 MB; processing times out after five seconds. Downloads and clipboard copies contain the output you choose.
