2026-06-03,103,118,100,115On June 1, the candle body connects open 100 to close 108 and the wick spans 96–112. June 2 closes below its open. Neither candle reveals the sequence of prices inside the day.
When to choose this chart
Candlesticks summarize open, high, low and close measurements for an ordered period. They show a range and endpoint direction rather than every transaction within that period.
Prepare and map your fields
Map a date or category label and four numeric columns: Open, High, Low and Close. High must be at least both endpoints, and Low at most both endpoints. Valid ISO dates preserve ordering and spacing.
Confirm the four mappings instead of relying on column order.
Review invalid OHLC warnings and use consistent period definitions.
Label the unit and interval before choosing a palette and exporting.
Read the result correctly
Compare the body for open-to-close direction and the wick for the full range. The tool validates structure; it does not fetch market prices or provide a trading signal.
A mistake to avoid
Swapping High and Close can produce misleading or invalid candles. Do not combine daily and weekly observations without explaining the different periods or infer an investment recommendation from colours.
Export and keep your data private
Review the title, units, labels and any omitted-row warnings at the final export size. PNG is a raster image, SVG retains vector chart elements, and PDF embeds a raster image. Save the original table if you may need to revise the mapping.
Data stays in browser memory; no upload, external chart service or AI model. CSV, TSV, semicolon/pipe text, JSON and JSON Lines: 2 MB, 10,000 rows, 24 columns. Charts allow up to eight series; categorical charts 60 groups, lines/scatter/candlesticks 500 rows, pie/donut/waffle 12 categories, radar 3–12 dimensions. Blank/invalid mapped values are omitted and counted. Numeric values use a decimal point; remove currency symbols and grouping separators. Percent strings are treated as displayed numeric values (25% becomes 25). Dates use ISO format. Recommendations check data structure, not meaning or causation. PNG up to 16 MP; SVG stays vector; PDF embeds a high-resolution chart image. Review mappings, ordering, aggregation and labels before sharing.
