Stopwatch & Lap Analyzer guide

By Team Edtoolkits · Time & date

Capture laps, compare split times, undo the last lap and export a complete timing report.

Use the guide alongside the working tool.

Open Stopwatch & Lap Analyzer →

Use and export

Start the stopwatch and tap Lap at each boundary.

Pause/resume, undo the last lap and optionally exclude the first split from comparisons.

Pause before exporting all lap data or a summary report. Reset starts a fresh run.

Methods and limits

Up to seven days elapsed and 1,000 laps. Uses performance.now monotonic timing rather than a drifting tick counter. The display shows hundredths; CSV retains rounded captured milliseconds. Browser precision and device sleep can affect measurements; this is not certified timing equipment. First-lap exclusion changes comparison statistics only. Undo restores the preceding lap boundary while total elapsed time continues. Pause before Reset or exporting a consistent report. Reload clears the stopwatch.

Private processing

Entries, names, booking references, notes and timer state stay in browser memory. No uploads, account connections, external model calls or automatic storage. Refreshing clears the workspace; explicitly save a draft or export to keep your work. Downloaded reports contain entered information. No messages are sent to clients, colleagues or travel providers.
