Add or remove GST at 5%, 18%, 40% or any rate, with the CGST + SGST or IGST split, cess and quantity, for Indian invoices and bills.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open GST Calculator →Pick the exam and document
Choose Add GST if your price excludes GST, or Remove GST if it already includes GST. Enter the amount and, if you like, the quantity.
Frame and clean up
Pick the GST rate (5%, 18%, 40%, 3%, 0.25% or 0%, or a custom rate such as 12% or 28%) and whether the supply is within your state (CGST + SGST) or to another state (IGST). Add compensation cess if it applies.
Create and check
Read the total and the line-by-line split, and copy the breakdown for your invoice or accounts.
Privacy and limits
Rates follow the GST 2.0 slabs that took effect on 22 September 2025; the correct rate depends on the HSN or SAC code of your goods or services, so confirm it before invoicing. Each tax is rounded to the paisa, and when removing GST the parts are adjusted by at most a paisa so they add back to the amount you entered. This is a calculator, not tax advice. Everything runs in your browser.
