How to use Number to Words
- Type a number or amount, with or without commas, up to 18 digits and two decimal places.
- Choose the Indian (lakh, crore) or international (million, billion) system, the currency and the letter case.
- Copy the cheque or invoice line (for example, Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Only), the amount in words, the number alone, or the Hindi wording.
What are the limits of Number to Words?
Covers English and Hindi wording for INR, USD, EUR, GBP and AED. Amounts above 99 crore are written as hundreds or thousands of crore (for example, one thousand crore), which is the common Indian usage. Everything runs in your browser.
