Hindi Typing & Krutidev Converter in your browser

By Team Edtoolkits · Text

Type Hindi with English letters, and convert Krutidev 010 text to Unicode Hindi or Unicode back to Krutidev for old documents and forms.

Use the guide alongside the working tool.

Open Hindi Typing & Krutidev Converter →

Pick the exam and document

Choose Type Hindi to write Hindi with English letters (namaste becomes नमस्ते), or choose Krutidev → Unicode or Unicode → Krutidev to convert existing text.

Frame and clean up

Type or paste your text. The result updates as you type; open the typing chart for the letters to use (aa for ा, Sh for ष, ~ for ँ) and put English words in {braces}.

Create and check

Copy the result. Use Swap to convert the result back the other way. Krutidev output reads as Hindi only with the Kruti Dev 010 font applied.

Privacy and limits

Phonetic typing follows a fixed letter scheme rather than guessing words, so type long vowels in full (raam for राम). The Krutidev ↔ Unicode table covers Kruti Dev 010, the most common legacy Hindi font; other legacy fonts use different keys. The Krutidev → Unicode table is adapted from the MIT-licensed npm-hindi-converter. Text stays in your browser.
