Work out CAGR and absolute return from a start and end value, or XIRR for SIPs and irregular investments and withdrawals from a table of dated cash flows.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open CAGR & XIRR Calculator →Pick the exam and document
Choose CAGR for one amount that grew over a period, or XIRR for several investments and withdrawals on different dates.
Frame and clean up
For CAGR enter the starting value, ending value and years; for XIRR add each date with money invested as a negative amount and money received (and today's value) as positive.
Create and check
Read the yearly return, absolute return and gain, and copy the result.
Privacy and limits
XIRR uses a 365-day year, like spreadsheet XIRR and mutual fund statements. Past returns do not predict future returns; tax and exit loads are not included.
