How to use Sudoku Generator & Solver
- Play: pick Easy, Medium or Hard and tap a cell, then a number (or type it). Switch on Notes to pencil in candidates; Hint, Check and Restart are always there.
- Print: choose the difficulty, how many puzzles and how many per page, and download an A4 PDF with an answer key at the end.
- Solve: type in a puzzle from a newspaper or book (or paste 81 digits), press Solve, and see the answer, whether it has exactly one solution, or play it here.
What are the limits of Sudoku Generator & Solver?
Every generated puzzle has exactly one solution. Difficulty is set by the number of clues (and easy puzzles need only simple steps), so a few medium or hard puzzles may feel easier or harder than expected. Your game is saved in this browser only.
