Test screenshots, charts and designs against eight types of colour vision, with a split view, an all-profiles grid and automatic findings that flag colour pairs people may not be able to tell apart; export a report.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Colour Blindness Simulator →Pick the exam and document
Upload or paste (Ctrl+V) a screenshot, chart or design, or try the sample chart.
Frame and clean up
Pick a vision profile on the left (keys 1–8) and drag the split line to compare with typical vision, or view all profiles side by side.
Create and check
Read the findings on the right: each flagged colour pair shows how it looks to the affected people, and tapping it highlights where those colours are in the image. Check a palette by its hex codes, and export a PNG report or the findings as CSV.
Privacy and limits
Uses the widely used Machado (2009) model of colour vision deficiency; real colour perception varies from person to person and with screens and lighting. It shows how colours may look, not a medical test. The image stays on your device.
