A steady online metronome with time signatures, accents, subdivisions and tap tempo, plus a microphone tuner for guitar, bass, ukulele and violin with reference tones.
Use the guide alongside the working tool.
Open Metronome & Instrument Tuner →Pick the exam and document
Metronome: set the tempo with the slider, the ± buttons or Tap tempo, choose the time signature, clicks per beat and sound, and press Start (or the space bar).
Frame and clean up
Tuner: choose your instrument, press Start tuner and allow the microphone, then play one string at a time. The needle shows how many cents sharp or flat you are; green means in tune.
Create and check
Tap a string's note to hear a reference tone if you prefer tuning by ear. Change A4 from 440 Hz if your group tunes differently.
Privacy and limits
Timing uses your browser's audio clock and is steady, but Bluetooth speakers and headphones add a delay. The tuner listens to one note at a time and works best in a quiet room close to the microphone; very low bass notes can take a moment to settle. Sound is analysed on your device and never recorded.
