Privacy and limits
This checks that a GSTIN is well formed and its check character is correct. It cannot tell whether the GSTIN is registered, active, cancelled or belongs to the name you were given: confirm that on the official GST portal (Search Taxpayer) before claiming input tax credit. Special numbers such as UIN, TDS and TCS IDs use other formats and show as invalid. Everything runs on your device and nothing you paste is sent anywhere.
